We are proud to have known and worked with him. He was generous in sharing his experience and advice, unfailingly courteous and kind, and in every way a wise mentor and esteemed colleague. He cared deeply about important issues and contributed his practical perspective and vision to many efforts to improve education and housing for all. We treasure our memories of this humble giant.
