BRYANT RABBINO ASSISTS THE NEW YORK CITY TRANSITIONAL FINANCE AUTHORITY WITH THE ISSUANCE OF$1.3 BILLION AND THE REOFFERING OF $74 MILLION OF ITS FUTURE TAX SECURED BONDS

Bryant Rabbino served as Co-Bond Counsel to the New York City Transitional Finance Authority (“NYC TFA”), the public benefit corporation whose primary purpose is to finance a portion of New York City’s multi-billion dollar capital improvement plan, Bryant Rabbino played a primary role in connection with the issuance by NYC TFA of its $950,000,000 Future Tax Secured Subordinate Bonds, Fiscal 2023 Subseries D-1 (Tax-Exempt), $212,590,000 Fiscal 2023 Subseries D-2 (Taxable), and $137,410,000 Fiscal 2023 Subseries D-2 (Taxable).  The Fiscal 2023 Series D Bonds were issued to finance general City capital expenditures.

Bryant Rabbino also served as Co-Bond Counsel to the City in connection with the conversion $71,615,000 of the Authority’s outstanding Future Tax Secured Bonds, Fiscal 1999 Subseries A-1 from a Weekly Rate Mode to a Fixed Rate Mode and reoffering the Bonds as Post-’07 S-1 Parity Debt at fixed rates to maturity. The reoffered Bonds were originally issued to finance general City capital expenditures.

Bryant Rabbino attorneys Sani A. Williams, B. Seth Bryant, Aram Muradyan, and Bernard Armoo assisted on the transactions. Both transactions closed on November 3, 2022.
